Richard E. Lorenz, M.D. - Bosley Physician
Dr. Richard E. Lorenz is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
After graduating with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Washington, Seattle, in 1972, he earned his M.D. from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, in 1976. Dr. Lorenz completed his internship at University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison, in 1977. From 1977 to 1980, he served in the Navy, as General Medical Officer. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Sinai Hospital of Detroit in 1982, and his Plastic Surgery Residency at Phoenix Plastic Surgery Residency in 1984.
For the next seventeen years, Dr. Lorenz was in a private practice of plastic and reconstructive surgery; first in Spokane, Washington from 1984 until 1988, then in Phoenix, Arizona from 1988 to 2001. In Phoenix, Dr. Lorenz was a Clinical Instructor in Plastic Surgery at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine.
In 2001, Dr. Lorenz elected to practice hair restoration surgery exclusively and become a Bosley Atlanta Physician – the world's leader in Hair Restoration.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (1987) and the National Board of Medical Examiners (1977). He is licensed to practice medicine in California, Arizona and Georgia and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and Rocky Mountain Plastic Surgery Society. Dr. Lorenz is currently located in Bosley's Atlanta, Georgia office.

Frederick Taylor Work, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S. - Bosley Physician
Frederick T. Work, Jr., M.D. is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is an alumnus of Georgia Tech and Morehouse College and received his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in 1986. Dr. Work completed his internship at Letterman Army Medical Center located in San Francisco, California (1986-1987).
From 1987 to 1989, he served in the United States Army as a general medical officer stationed in the Republic of Panama-Central America. Dr. Work completed his general surgery residency (1989-1993) at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and practiced as a general surgeon at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (1993-1995) in Germany until his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army. He then returned to Atlanta where he completed two additional residences at Emory University School of Medicine (1995-1998) in Head and Neck / Microsurgery as well as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Work was a Plastic Surgeon in private practice for over 10 years in Atlanta, Georgia before joining the Bosley Medical Atlanta Group. During this time, he held academic appointments as Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at Morehouse School of Medicine (1998-present) and Emory University School of Medicine (1998-1999). Dr. Work also served as the Plastic Surgery Consultant and frequent contributor for WAGA FOX 5 TV (1999-2007).
He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and has been a past member/ associate of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Georgia State Medical Association, the Southeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Medical Association of Georgia, the Atlanta Medical Association and the American Medical Association. He is currently licensed to practice medicine in California, North Carolina, Florida and Georgia and is presently located in the Bosley Atlanta Surgical Office.
